SBR Bonding Agent for Cement Mortar & Concrete

Ferro 171 is a styrene butadiene Rubber (SBR) polymer with high bonding characteristics is stable under wet alkaline conditions forming a reinforcing polymer matrix within cementitious mixes including concrete, screed and mortar. It is mixed with cement mixture to give higher adhesion power to all surfaces, extra bonding strength, excellent plasticity, higher impermeability and flexure resistance, higher abrasion and acid resistance and can be considered as a waterproof admixture when mixed with cement

  • Coverage Area

    The approximate coverage is as follows
    When used as Waterproofing Coating 22-25 sqf/kg @ 2 coats
    When used as Repair Mortar 6-8 kg / 50 kg of cement
    When used as Repair Concrete & Screed 10-15% by weight of cement @ water / powder ratio = 0.5.
    When used as Screed 6-8 kg / 50 kg of cement
    When used as Bonding Agent 45-50 sqf/kg @ 1 coat

  • SHELF LIFE

    12 months if kept in a cool dry place and remains in un-opened condition.
